Win/Win Shopping for You and The Blind Business Charitable Trust

The Blind Business Association Charitable Trust (BBACT) is a fab, small charity supporting blind and partially sighted people to become self employed. It is a charity that I have been supported by in the past, and now work with. They offer a valuable service to a group of people for whom business start-up support is not always easily accessible.

I want to share a brilliant way in which you can raise funds for BBACT without doing anything you wouldn’t already be doing and without putting your hand in your pocket; it really is win/win!

 If you already shop online with retailers such as Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Comet, iTunes, eBay or HMV to name but a few then you can support BBACT by doing so.

 So how does it work?

You shop directly with the retailer as you would normally, but if you sign up to http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/bbact  for free and use the links on the easyfundraising site to take you to the retailer, then a percentage of whatever you spend comes directly to BBACT at no extra cost to yourself.

I want to stress that it is really simple to sign up and only takes a few minutes. Believe me, if I am saying this then it’s true!

There are over 2,000 retailers on their site and some of them donate as much as 15% of your purchase.
