The lemonade blog continues………
Contemplating my new blog, I found myself thinking about a trip I made many years ago whilst in Australia. I was on a trip with other random bods, as with open trips like this there was typically a mix of people, ranging from the one I got on with and stayed in touch with to the one I hoped never to cross paths with again!
The girl heading up the trip spent time with different collections of people week on week. Our group was mixed in the extreme and she told me something that has stuck with me ever since. She said that she learns something from someone on every excursion she takes. Sometimes she learnt how to live and think and feel and sometimes she learnt how not to do things and how not to behave.
Through Making Lemonade I meet lots of people, most of whom it is a total pleasure to meet. I adopt the same approach I learnt from a happy, balanced young Aussie woman I had the pleasure to spend several days with and whom taught me the best educational tool I know.
I look forward to sharing my observations on life and love and the universe that I learn from those I meet on each week that passes…….
