Thank you so much for delivering our Disability Equality Training session. It was a really useful day and perfectly pitched. I’m already getting great feedback from the participants and we are starting to embed the ideas into our plans. Thank you!

I work with a group of challenging young students (aged 13 - 16) and was looking for resources to compliment my lesson on motivation. I was particularly looking at examples to illustrate the ability to turn what can be percieved as a negative experience/characteristic into a positive one.

I came across a montage of Steph Cutler; I gave the students some background information and then played the montage. My PSHE lessons are mostly very challenging due to the students difficulty with empathy, emotional literacy and many subjects being quite emotive for them. Following the clip the students were rendered speechless, they went on to ask searching questions and an amazing, honest discussion followed.

I really believe that this two-minute clip has had a profound impact on them and created a breakthrough in terms of the candid discussion that was able to happen. I will build on this experience and can only begin to estimate the impact of a full presentation by Steph Cutler in person!

Thank you!

Barriers are only reduced or removed by individuals and organisations doing something. Whatever it is you want to promote there are more channels than ever to make your voice heard. Thanks for your comment.
