“Working with Steph was inspirational. She is an expert in the field of disability and has an in depth understanding of how to help a business leader achieve their potential. Steph helped me to gain awareness and change the ideas that were holding me back. My company has grown and I have gained a new, large client.”

Happy New Year!

It is usual at this time of year to look back over the year just gone and forward to the one ahead. It is also usual for life coaches to seize the moment to talk about new year resolutions and to bring the conversation round to how they can help! I am not going down that road simply because I think the phrase ‘new year resolution’ is a kiss of death for most people and I can help anytime of year when you are ready rather than because it is the first week in January!

I promise not to mention the phrase ‘new year resolution’ again this month but I thought it would be a good month for looking at achieving success.

I was talking with a friend the other day about 2012 and he said, ‘it will be what it will be’. In many ways I can’t argue with that, of course ‘it will be what it will be’ but that is not to say you can’t influence ‘what will be’.

So, this month I am going to look at this notion of ‘what will be’ and what it might take to influence the outcome of what ‘will be’. I’m going to enlist the help of some guest bloggers to share their thoughts on this, so watch this space……
